2010-2011 Marching Band Camp Coming Soon !!
Hopefully everyone is enjoying their summer and it has been great to see many students and parents at several Baysox games as we raise the funds needed to help make our music program a continued success. Less than 1 month away is the start of the marching season with the annual band camp to be held at Arundel High School beginning on Monday, August 2nd. Students, dust off those instruments and get your marching shoes cleaned as we look forward to a brand new program called "RED". Please sign up for camp using the Registration form, which is due by July 12th. As most people now know, we have honored and said our farewells to the beloved Dr. Phillip Butts as he has chosen to retire after 38 years with the program. We wish him the best in retirement and look forward to his promised visits this year.
2010-2011 AIMA Board Elected !
The 2010-2011 AIMA board election was held at the May AIMA general meeting with the results being almost an entirely new board. The new board will transition into place on July 1st. Thanks goes out to the parents who volunteered many hours and served as board members this year. We also welcome and appreciate the new members who have stepped up to these roles for next year.
